Frequently Asked Questions
Where do my pets sleep during their stay?
All guests at Sophie's Pet Sleepover are more than welcome to sleep with me, but ultimately it is up to you as the owner. If your dog is used to being crated for bedtime then we surely do not want to break your pet's routine. All pets upon schedule of their stay will be guaranteed a space for play and sleep.
If my pet needs to go to the vet. Will you take them?
Yes! If your pet is in need of care I will communicate it to you immediately. Should you agree and decide that your pet needs care then I will get your pet seen by your licensed veterinarian.
How many dogs can you watch at once?
Currently, dog bookings are limited to 8 dogs at any given time. This is to ensure every dog that stays with me is has a place to play, lounge and sleep comfortably.
Are you able to watch aggressive pets?
I can certainly watch aggressive dogs. There is however a surcharge for scheduling a stay for an aggressive pet. This is to ensure the pet gets the adequate space, attention, and handling needed for the pets' safety as well as ensuring the safety of any other pets under my care.
Do you have any pets yourself?
Absolutely! Sophie's Pet Sleepover is home to some amazing and cuddly cats as well as some fun and friendly dogs. While the cats love to lounge around upstairs away from party, the dogs on the other hand love to join in on it.
What form of payments do you accept?
Currently I accept Cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Check and all major Debit/Credit Cards (includes a small fee.)
Can you administer medication for pets who need it?
Yes, this service is available upon request. Working in the pet services industry I have years of experience administering medication to pets. From diabetic medication, arthritic treatments, and more.
